Our Citizen Safety Institute Basic First Aid training complements adult learning
styles in a number of ways; 1) by reading the text for accurate inormation, 2)
listening to the audio to reinforce what has been read, 3) watching the video
presentation, 4) By analyzing the animation. 5) By practicing your skills, and
6) at the end, test your knowledge to prove that you can do it. Excellence is
assured because if you do not get an answer correct, you can review that
specific area and relearn the subject matter. You will keep the CD as reference
material to retain skills and serve as reference tools in an emergency. This
comprehensive course meets training guidelines for first aid established by the
Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
Basic First Aid shows employees that knowing first aid can often
limit the severity of injury and even prevent death. In most facilities, not a

burn. But an injury can be painful and affect an employees work performance, as
well as their life off the job. According to OSHA, "in the absence of an
infirmary, clinic or hospital in the near proximity to the workplace which is
used for the treatment of all injured employees, a person or persons should be
adequately trained in render first aid." Basic First Aid on CD meets OSHA First
